Just tried it round a friends who got an invite. I have to say its very pretty although theres not a lot to do there at the moment.
Im sure some will find it fun but i personally didn't see much point in it. Saying that if social networking is your thing you will like it.
True but theres no way its going to sell over 1.5 million in the rest of the world in one day.
Sales wise yeah Gears2 will outsell it but if you like Fps and own a ps3 you will enjoy it. Suerly thats all that matters.

Average single player. Good co-op. Good online though not the best.
I never said it was selling poorly compared to the xbox. The xbox sales are irrelevant. Im just saying its underperforming.The xbox1 was hell of a lot cheaper than the ps2 but the ps2 killed it big time in sales when the price wasn't far off what the ps3's is now. Yes the ps3 is underperforming in Japan. Sony knows it and to think its not is blind sighted. So no im not an idiot im just stating a fact.
Isnt that exactly what Sony were doing for the last 10 years. I do agree with you though about not wanting a Monopoly.
Blademask.. In Edges review of Gears2 they said the single player campaign was great which it is and its quite a resonable length this time round. Im not saying there review of Resistance was right but if they didn't like the single player then whats wrong with them saying so.
Also im sure Edge reviews games based on there genres. So a game like Guitar hero mig...
The thing is the xbox shouldn't be selling these kind of numbers. The last xbox was doing 200 a week if they were lucky while the ps2 at the same time was doing 50,000. The ps3 is underperforming in Japan regardless of price and the xbox360 is performing better than expected.

Trophies should have been there in the begining. What about all the games ive beaten over the last two years? Its too little to late.
Im starting to loose all interest in Japan's gaming culture. The ps3 sales are still low, the games they buy often bizzare and there development teams seem to have got stuck in the past. There was a time when they had the most respected teams and games in the world but it now seems to me that western developers are the ones taking chances and pushing the hardware.
I don't think much of the single player, a lot of edges issues i actually agree with but the multi-player is very good and worth getting for if online's your bag. Just my opinion mind.
I also noticed today Teletext on channel 4 (UK text service) also gave this a seven and said it was a 5 if you weren't online. Are they the same reviewers i wonder?
Please keep it single player, thats the whole point. Lara explores on her own. Its the isolation of exploring alone that makes it popular. Multiplayer will kill it.

Yeah there outselling ps3 but the Wii is kicking there butt so i wouldn't celebrate to loudly.
